Abstract

The Community Service (PKM) activity "Love Responsibility" at GKS Mamboro was conducted as an effort to enhance the congregation's understanding, particularly among the younger generation, regarding the importance of building healthy, responsible relationships grounded in moral and spiritual values. The development of social media and shifts in social interaction patterns in the modern era often influence how individuals perceive love and interpersonal relationships, making it essential to provide education that can shape positive character and social awareness. The activity was implemented through socialization, material presentation, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and collective reflection on the meaning of love and responsibility in daily life. The topics covered included the importance of healthy communication, mutual respect, commitment, self-control, and the impact of social media on social and emotional relationships. This activity involved the GKS Mamboro congregation, with a primary focus on the church's teenagers and youth. The results of the activity showed that the participants demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the program. Participants were able to understand that love is not only about feelings but also carries responsibility toward oneself, family, and the social environment. Furthermore, this activity helped increase participants' awareness to build healthier and more harmonious relationships amidst changing times. In conclusion, the "Love Responsibility" PKM activity at GKS Mamboro has delivered a positive impact on the character building of the congregation and is expected to become a sustainable program to support the formation of healthy, moral, and responsible social relationships within both the church and the community.
